Over 50 works by local artists were displayed in a gala exhibition at Arthouse Apartments last week.

Showcased in and around the residents’ lounge, games room and pool deck, the exhibition gave guests a unique opportunity to view the artwork and engage the attending artists while touring the luxury amenities and enjoying drinks and canapés.

Edge Visionary Living Director Gavin Hawkins said it was integral to the design of Arthouse to provide a space in which local artists could display their artwork, building upon Edge’s commitment to build and nourish community in Joondalup’s city centre.

The City of Joondalup is known for its innovation and driving of community cultural and arts festivals and events and we feel incredibly honoured to be able to give back to the community by featuring local artwork throughout the building.

The sense of pride among residents to be able to welcome the public into their home to experience the strength of community and resort lifestyle that they have whole-heartedly embraced was palpable. It was a wonderful evening enveloped in a warm convivial atmosphere.

With over 85 per cent of apartments sold, there still remain a selection of one-, two- and three-bedrooms apartments available, most of which have sweeping views of either Lake Joondalup, the ocean or Perth city skyline.
